Respect the exhibits: Please avoid touching displays, artefacts, or cases unless signage indicates an interactive area.
Photography: Non-flash photography is welcome for personal use. Tripods, lights, and commercial photography require prior permission.
Food and drinks: To protect the collections, no food or beverages are allowed inside the galleries. You’re welcome to enjoy snacks in the lobby or outdoors in Vanier Park.
Bags and storage: Large backpacks, umbrellas, and oversized bags must be left at the coat check near the entrance.
Noise and behaviour: Help maintain a calm atmosphere for all visitors by keeping noise to a minimum and silencing mobile phones inside the exhibition areas.
Children and families: The museum welcomes young visitors. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
